The article explains an environmental impact analysis for evaluating odor/volatile organic compounds (VOC) emission treatment systems. It mentions that the environmental impact was quantified using a systematic methodology that utilizes ten source and non-source emissions. The findings of the analysis revealed that the MultiPhase Biosystem costs more than a compost biofilter but with lower environmental impact, indicating that treatment technology must be based on both the total environmental cost plus their environmental impacts. |
