The article discusses developments in the political climate and the global climate under the leadership of U.S. President Barack Obama. Obama signed into law the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 which aims to create clean energy jobs, achieve energy independence and reduce global climate pollution with provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Obama needs to develop strategic means to discuss environmental issues to reduce air pollution and climate change. |
