The article presents a research highlighting some of the key factors that influenced the adoption and implementation of ecodesign practices at manufacturing companies in Brazil. It cites a case study illustrating the way ecodesign is being incorporated into the design of products manufactured by a midsized automotive electronics supplier in the country. Further details regarding the background of ecodesign including its benefits and barriers are offered. |
