Abstrakt: The article discusses the significant role of ecosystem-based adaptation strategy in coastal and marine communities in response to climate change. It notes that the strategy provides opportunity to reduce the vulnerability of these communities and improve the management of marine and coastal ecosystems. Furthermore, it suggests that the guiding principles in the development of effective ecosystem should be used first because natural ecosystems offer valuable protection and other services.
