The article discusses research on periodical and seasonal variations of hourly and daily clearness index in a tropical station of Ile-Ife, Nigeria. It says that variations were identified through a dataset comprising of hourly global and diffuse solar radiation evaluated in February 1992 and December 2002. It refers to the statistical analysis and subsequent characterization of the sky conditions over the station, saying that its local sky conditions were free of clear skies and cloudy skies. |
