| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on an unknown disease amongst bat population in the eastern U.S. Rendering a threat to certain species and eventually the food chain and the ecosystem, the disease named white-nose syndrome, was reportedly documented first in the winter of 2007, in Albany New York. Fast spreading towards other states, biologists consider that the disease poses a threat to wipe off bat population and eventually increase in the use of pesticides in crops. |
