| Abstrakt: | A definition of the term "sick building syndrome" is presented. It refers to the high incidence of sickness amongst people who work in sealed buildings. A common list of symptoms for this phenomenon as summarised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) is outlined. The common features of sick buildings as well as the possible causes of it are also cited. |
