Abstrakt:	A definition of "Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Regulations 2005" is presented. It is a policy that mandates operators of installations to hold a greenhouse gas permit issued by the Environment Agency. The regulation states that it is an offense to fail to comply with certain other obligations, such as undertaking an activity covered by the Scheme without having a greenhouse gas emissions permit.
