The article stresses the effort by the Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) in addressing the environmental and health issues being caused by agricultural plastic materials in Canada. The RCA decided to work with representatives from the Alberta Plastics Recycling Association (APRA), the manufacturing sector, retailers, recycling project operators, and recycling processors, among which. The group gained understanding of the main issue and assessed the potential of collecting materials of sufficient quantity and quality. The group likewise developed a model for a provincial recycling program for agricultural plastics. |
