Abstrakt: The article discusses the definition of conventional pollutants and ambient air quality described in the Clear Air Act (CAA) in the U.S. Pollutants refer to waste products that impair air quality and threaten public health and welfare such as emissions from diverse or stationary sources. They are categorized into conventional and hazardous pollutants which include variable factors that interact with other pollutants and carbon monoxide. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) establishes the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) used in the identification of different pollutants.
