Abstrakt: The article discusses the importance of forestry carbon projects in wildlife and environmental conservation in Great Britain. Forestry carbon projects can be achieved through reduction of greenhouse gases, restoring and protecting ecosystem services, providing sustainable livelihoods for forest-dependent people, and more. The forestry carbon projects offer significant opportunities for combining climate mitigation and adaptation activities in ways that make poor communities more aware of the impacts of climate change, intense and frequent droughts, wildfires, and floods.
