Abstrakt:	The article reports on the efforts made by the Creation Research Society (CRS) and the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) to promote the theory of creationism as having scientific evidence in the U.S. Creationism is the belief that the earth and all life on it were created in six solar days by a divine Creator some 6000 to 10,000 years ago. In order to prove that creation is a better scientific concept as compared to evolution, the ICR supports research projects that are stated to bear promise of significant impact in the scientific realm supporting creationism. A state-wide revision of the 10-year-old biology curriculum in New York has been delayed by a petition from the ICR to include creationist theory in the unit on evolution.
