| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses several achievements in the field of agricultural and biological engineering. A background information on conservation tillage is presented. The role of the milking machine in the improvement of labor efficiency of collecting milk is addressed. Meanwhile, it reveals that the cotton picker requires the combination of mechanical and biological principles. Other achievements discussed include center-pivot irrigation, rural electrification and the development of the agricultural tractor. |
