The article presents information related to crude oil and natural gas resource development in the U.S. during November 2005. The number of exploratory and development crude oil and natural gas wells drilled was 3,282 which is 2 percent higher than October 2005. The number of dry holes drilled was 458, which is 2 percent more than October 2005. The number of seismic crews active in the 48 States onshore was 46, which is 5 more than a year earlier. Total footage drilled was 21.2 million feet, which is 2 percent higher than October 2005. |
