Abstrakt: The article discusses the results of a study on the role of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) in preventing the health effects of air pollution during pregnancy. Topicss mentioned include the increasing prevalence of childhood rhinitis due to prenatal exposure to particulate matters in the air, the assessment of the levels of fats in material red blood cell membranes, and the recommendation of regular consumption of fish and other sources of PUFA during pregnancy.
