Abstrakt:	The article discusses how the Rights of Nature legislative movement may support initiatives that aim to address ocean plastic pollution. Topics explored include the impact of plastic marine debris on economic development, public health, and social justice equity, the way the movement acknowledges earth law and the importance of maintaining balance between ecosystems and all species, and the commitment of this movement to human rights, environmental justice, and sustainable development.
