Abstrakt:	The article discusses updates on the Global Plastics Treaty negotiations of the United Nations (UN). Topics explored include the plan to develop an internationally legally binding instrument that would address plastics pollution, the convention of an Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC) requested by the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA), and the coordination process involving several coalitions, nongovernmental organizations, and independent scientists.
