Abstrakt: This article presents the results of a study on the genetic diversity of chickpea genotypes. The study used principal component analysis (PCA) to identify promising genotypes based on their scores in different traits. The genotypes JG 24, JG 11 x JG 14, ICCV 15119, ICC 552241 x JG 11, and JG 11 x RVSSG-1 showed high positive PC values for yield-related traits. These genotypes can be selected for further breeding programs to develop desirable features. The findings of this study are consistent with earlier research on chickpea diversity.
