The article discusses the propagation of Homalomena aromatica Schott, an endangered herb with commercial importance in Northeast India. The study compares different methods of rhizome cuttings to identify the best method for sustainable cultivation. The top cutting method produced superior results in terms of root development and vegetative growth. The article also highlights the cultural significance and traditional medicinal uses of Homalomena aromatica, emphasizing the need for conservation and standardized propagation methods.
