The article discusses legal challenges relating to the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) natural gas pipeline project in the U.S. Topics discussed include the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's decision to issue a certificate of public convenience and necessity on the project, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals' decision regarding federal agency authorizations for MVP, and the signing of the 2023 Fiscal Responsibility Act (FRA) into law which declared MVP to be in the national interest. |
