Abstrakt: The article discusses the conservation efforts for the Critically Endangered tree Buchanania barberi in India. The tree is valued for its fruits, timber, and medicinal properties, but due to human activities, it is threatened and categorized as Critically Endangered. The Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute has received funding to conserve the species and conducted education campaigns to raise awareness. They developed educational materials, organized quiz programs, and planted seedlings in schools.
