Abstrakt:	The article studies the distribution of trace metals in stormwater retention ponds in a watershed experiencing rapid residential growth and urbanization. It investigates trace metal levels in comparison with published water quality. It was observed that levels of Pb, Ni and Zn in tadpoles were lower than dietary exposures found to have substantial effects in birds. Effects of dietary exposures in avian wildlife for Cu, Cd and Cr were limited so additional data are needed for risk estimates.
