Abstrakt: The article presents notes related to various chapters published in the second edition of the book "Environment & Politics." Chapter 1 discusses that Charles Lindblom, who was one of the seminal figures in the development of pluralist accounts, went on to write a classic account of the consequences of the preponderance of power held by business in the U.S. political system, "Politics and Markets." Chapter 3 states that in many well-meaning works prior to the Rio Summit in 1992, it was constantly argued that the South had to become more like the United States in its political system if environmental degradation was to be brought under control. Chapter 7 states that environmentalists from the ACF, the Wilderness Society and Greenpeace initially participated in eight of the nine ESD working groups. Greenpeace withdrew from the process because of proposed Commonwealth resource security legislation. All groups refused to sit on the Forest Industry group from the beginning and pursued their case through Resource Assessment Commission instead.
