The article discusses the various legal forms of the rights of nature by examining the provisions of the 2008 constitution of Ecuador. Also cited are the move by Ecuadorian courts to assert the rights of nature and nature as a rights-bearing entity in their decisions, and the other courts that protect said rights in their rulings like the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and the Constitutional Court of Colombia. |
