Abstrakt:	The article discusses research published in the issue of the journal "Environmental Health Perspectives" which examined the role of glyphosate herbicide in the prevalence of liver and metabolic diseases in children in Salinas Valley, California. The study determined the association of glyphosate and aminomethylphosphonic acid with elevated liver transaminases and metabolic conditions that increase the risk for heart disease, diabetes and stroke.
