Abstrakt:	In the article, the authors examines the importance of using models in the strategic preparations against potential outbreaks of vector-borne diseases (VBD) like West Nile virus (WNV). Also cited is a study using a random forest model to examine the influence of seasonal weather variables on the spatial distribution and incidence of WNV disease in humans.
