Abstrakt: Strains IMID-4 and IMID-7 were isolated from soil, which could effectively reduce and detoxify imidacloprid. They were identified as Bacillus albusIMID-4 and Bacillus toyonensis IMID-7 based on the 16S rRNA gene analysis. Both IMID-4 and IMID-7 could also effectively degrade some other neonicotinoid pesticides. In addition, rhamnolipid and T. aestivumrhizosphere soil have been proved to promote the biodegradation of imidacloprid. Two strains have been successfully developed into a microbial agent. The new microbial agent could be used to degrade imidacloprid in soil, and have achieved many satisfactory results. The degradation efficiency of imidacloprid (100 mg/kg) by the microbial agent could reach about 90% after 6 days. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
