WILLIAM YOUNG I found the article "Desperate Measures" in your Fall 2022 issue appalling on many fronts - mostly the despicable practice of pitting one owl species against another. Spotted Owls need support but not by the removal of an owl species that is filling a void brought about, in part, by the mismanagement of forest practices.
