The article focuses on the study concerning the suitableness of quaternized peanut hull in the remotion of acid dyes from synthetic solution and textile effluent. Quaternization of peanut hulls was preformed. The study revealed that quaternized peanut hulls can be an essential sorbent for acid dyes in aqueous solution under batch conditions. However, its commercial applications to dye remotion in textile waste will only be determined after its effectiveness examination in column study has been conducted. |
