Abstrakt: The article presents a study on the evaluation of the biologic and toxic effects of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) mixtures in the vitro fertilization in the mouse conducted in Bar Harbor, Michigan. The subject of the study is a male and a female mice whose aged 2 to 3 months and 7 to 9 months respectively. The PCB mixture was injected to a superovulated female mice after which the trials were analyzed by a Chi-Square and Bonferroni Chi-Square contingency tables to derive the results. The findings of the analysis shows that PCB mixtures have highly significant effect on the percent fertilization, abnormal embryos, and degenerative oocytes.
