Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the study conducted in Netherlands regarding the use of volumetry comparison and stereological methods in measuring crop density. The authors discuss the application of stereological methods to measure crop density as well as the investigation on the use of volume fraction and crop outer surface area estimation methods. Moreover, they concluded that stereological methods can be applied in estimating the surface area but not on an absolute volume fraction due to its inability to create a sampling grid.
