Abstrakt: potential value and feasibility of improved spatial and geo-graphic resolution of population density along with more highly resolved spatial concentrations of PM25, a fine particulate matter with a diameter of 2:5 um or less, in Russia. Topics covered include a stepwise process used in the study to better estimate population exposure to PM25, the population mortality attributable to PM25 pollution, and the implications of the study.
