Abstrakt: Ground source heat pump (GSHP) system as a high efficient, environmental protection, economic and energy saving air conditioning mode, is a kind of new energy technology of concern, is also a frontier topic in the field of building energy efficiency. Experimental and theoretical investigations have been carried out on the GSHP for heating and cooling of a Shaw Teaching Hall of Changchun in severe cold area. A TRNSYS model of the GSHP system was developed and validated against the measured data. Based on a parametrical investigation using the model, an optimized solution was proposed. It is shown that in the case of using only the ground source heat pump system for heating, the average COP value of the system decreases year by year. With the corresponding area compensation, the annual average annual heating energy efficiency ratio of the entire 30-year system is reduced to about 0.01. When the soil source heat pump system is only used for heating in winter, the average temperature of the soil is continuously reduced, and the impact on the system COP is extremely significant. Experience and lessons learned from the project are conducive to successful implementation of similar projects in the future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
