Abstrakt: The mine field boundary for underground coal gasification and the geological structure of Shanjiaoshu mine are introduced. The mining of No.4 coal seam using strip underground gasification technology is proposed and three kinds of mining schemes have been drawn up. The plastic damage state of the surrounding rock and the surface movement and deformation of the surrounding rock in the strip gasification mining area are simulated by FLAC3D software. The simulation results show that with the increase of gasifier width, the damage of the coal seam roof and floor is gradually deepened, and the subsidence and horizontal movement of coal seam roof are also increased.
