Theraised beds have a fresh dose of compost,the composted horse manure is ready to go,and the entire garden is starting weed-freefor the first time in 30 years. Humans have been gardening forthousands of years; my garden feels connectedto those gardens. We make our own compost and growtomatoes, peppers, string beans, sugarsnap peas, lettuce, kale, broccoli, and cucumbers.
