Abstrakt: The article reports that a CSIRO team led by deep-sea ecologist Alan Williams and colleagues placed a hi-tech underwater camera system over 33 of Australia's southern seamounts to reflect on deep-sea biodiversity. It mentions that Australia's orange roughy fishery left a mark on the hard-coral communities living on the seamounts and these corals build up reefs that provide habitat for soft corals and other life.
