A study which offers recommendations for the implementation of legislative reforms in the use and protection of pastures in line with the standards and requirements of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification in Those Countries Experiencing Serious Drought and/or Desertification (UNCCD) in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, is presented. Topics covered include ways to improve regional cooperation to prevent land degradation and legislation to protect pastures in Kazakhstan. |
