Abstrakt: Analyzes the quantification of root infection by symbiotic nitrogen-fixing Frankia and Rhizobium strains in relation to light and soil properties for seedlings of 12 woody species from a subtropical savanna in Texas. Nodules in rhamnaceous species; Infections of rhizobia occurring in all soils studied; Extent of nodulation varied by species.
