The article reports on the construction and testing of the first manufactured home built to meet the high performance requirements of the Zero Energy Ready Home program of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Topics discussed include the partnership between engineering consultancy Levy Partnership and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory for the testing of manufactured homes and technical support from the Southern Energy Homes division of home developer Clayton Homes and the DOE. |
