The article offers the author's insights on the development of renewable energy in Newberry Volcano, Oregon called the enhanced geothermal system (EGS) research project by the geothermal services provider AltaRock. Topics discussed include the view of senior vice president Trenton Cladouhos and communications director David Stowe at AltaRock regarding seismic protocol; and installation of the advanced microseismic network system and the use of seismometers. |
