Abstrakt:	In the article, the author discusses the civic infrastructure worldwide that continues to inspire as of March 2015. In the U.S., the "City Beautiful" movement was launched in the Beaux Arts era in order to celebrate the country's naming as the world's leading industrial power. He also cites the launching of such revolutionary innovations as the electric streetcars, elevators and telephones.
