The article presents the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Digital Library Collections contributed by the Mandeville Special Collections Library and the Melanesian Archive. The collections document the life in the islands if the southwest Pacific over several decades. The photographs include woman and child, dolo, a burial urn chiseled from limestone which depicts an ancestral leader with his sons and the Elota and other Kwaio men. |
