Abstrakt: This article examines several web sites that offer information related to the classical world of ancient Greece and Rome. The Wikipedia entry on Archaeology and its Archaeology Portal provides a good overview of the topic as well as offer many important links. There are 7,000 resources available in the Google Directory link for archaeology. The home page of K. C. Hanson, a Biblical studies scholar and classicist, contains selections of photographs of artifacts and sites he has taken at various locales as well as a collection of ancient documents. Minoan Crete is a site designed by Crete resident Ian Swindale that documents all the major and some of the minor archaeological sites of the Bronze Age civilisation in Crete.
