| Abstrakt: |
The article presents the Texshare program by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) for libraries in Texas. The program offers access to electronic databases to member libraries, allowing significant cost reduction by individual members due to shared subscriptions negotiated directly to the vendors. The University of Texas at Austin has been collaborating with the staff of TSLAC in the development of outreach and instructional resources that can increase the use of electronic TexShare databases by small, rural libraries. |
