Popis:	International Telemetering Conference Proceedings / October 26-29, 1992 / Town and Country Hotel and Convention Center, San Diego, California The Common Airborne Instrumentation System (CAIS) is designed as a general purpose system for flight test applications into the next century. The system has an open architecture which readily permits the addition of new equipment as the need arises. This paper describes the current complement of airborne hardware as well as the approach to the design of the open architecture. This paper is presented as a companion to the CAIS overview prepared for this conference.
