Cabbage is a temperate vegetable suitable for planting in a cool climate. In Taiwan, except for the high temperature in summer, the high probability of typhoon and the low yield, it can be planted all year round. In winter, the supply of cabbage is often oversupply, which leads to imbalance in production and sales. Cabbage is composed of leaves due to its ball-forming characteristics, and its properties are different from those of the outer leaves. The growth pattern is different from that of common leafy vegetables. In this study, taking the case of cabbage as an example, the multivariate regression model was used to explore the correlation between the price change of cabbage and the weather factors of the growing season and the pre-plant market price. The price of cabbage in the first fruit and vegetable wholesale market in Taipei from 2016 to 2019, and Yunlin county in the place of origin The county''s meteorological data for analysis. The empirical results show that the precipitation in the growth period of cabbage has a significant effect on the price of cabbage. Because the growth characteristics of cabbage is different from other vegetables, the growth period is affected by temperature. In the fluctuation of price, the influence of summer and autumn is greater than that in winter and spring. The early price will affect the farmers'' willingness to grow, and it is suitable for the growth of cabbage in winter and spring. If farmers rush to plant cabbage, the risk of imbalance between production and sales will be increased. Appropriate addition of recent prices can improve the explanatory power of the model, and it can also increase the time for the government to develop measures to balance production and sales.
