Popis: | 106 In past decade, pet owners increase dramatically in Taiwan. The reasons behind is anxiety about the bumpy economic and political situations which make people don’t have confidence of raising children. They devote their affections to their pets instead. Nowadays a pet is like a child, while pets need less care about their educations and demand less financial support from their owner than a human child. For pet owners today, most dogs are not for door keeping, cats are not for mouse catching. They are adored like or even more than children. Nevertheless, pets’ life expectancy is far less than human. When pet leaves, its owner faces not only deep grief but also decisions on how to handle pet’s remains. And the traditional ways of hanging dead cat on a tree or throw dead dog into a river are not acceptable to most owner today. That’s why pet funeral business raise in Taiwan recent years. The research purpose of this thesis is to study the acceptance of pet owner for pet funeral. The research applies (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) by Venkatesh Morris, Davis & Davis (2003) as theory, to study how the relationships between owners and their pets affect “perceived usefulness”、”perceived ease of use”、”perceived cheerful”, and how” social influences” to” attitudes” and “behaviors”. This survey collected 335 questionnaires, with 320 effective ones there are 95% high available. Though by system IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 analvsis finding of the survey: “perceived usefulness”、”perceived ease of use”、”perceived cheerful”、”social influences” all have positive relation with owners’ “attitudes “and” behaviors”, which conducts an inference that “pet funeral business” is promisingly acceptable to pet owners nowadays.
