Influence of Personality Beliefs, Test Situations, and Environmental Factors on False Intentions of Job Application Test: An Example of the Unemployed

This study is to examine the influence of unemployed's personality beliefs, test situations, environmental factors on test faking intention, so as to clarify the true intentions of the unemployed applicant for the test faking. Taking the unemployed people who are unemployed for more than one month as the research object, we adopt a questionnaire survey method to collect data and use statistical software SPSS to conducts data analysis through descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis, etc. The results of the study show that the unemployed person's personality beliefs have significant impacts on test faking intention during the job application process, while test situations and environmental factors have significant impacts on test faking intention. Furthermore, some of the demographic variables also appear significant differences on test faking intention. Finally, based on the above findings, the study proposes relevant research proposals and future research directions for reference to relevant government agencies or industry units.
