Nowadays, the Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) focus on the "vision" experience, not "hearing". If at this stage you want to have 3-Dimensions hearing of presence, you can use headphone or multi-channel speaker. But the headphone and multi-channel speaker means more cost for hardware, so researchers developed the theory of virtual sound (VS) and carry about many research studies, and the virtual sound and application is point in the this paper. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is to explore basic acoustics theory which contains basic standard, field, human ear structure and human sound location theory. The second part is to implement a virtual stereo music player on the laptop computer. This music player includes HRTF (Head Related Transfer Function) functions for users to customize a virtual stereo music, and for playing on the laptop computer speaker. Finally, this thesis realizes the virtual stereo play by the speaker os laptop computer.
