A Research of Customer Satisfaction of Buffet Restaurant in Five-Star Hotels at Kaohsiung City

Popis: | 106 In recent decades, no matter with individual running restaurants or some subsidiary restaurants in hotels, buffet dining is one of a kind that is well accepted in the food and beverage market. This type of dining provides one obvious message, one price for unlimited enjoyment. However, the quality of the food which is provided, the service attitude, the price, the dining ambiance and so on, each restaurant has its own prominence. This research is based on the buffet restaurant in those five stars international touristic hotels in Kaohsiung, like the Grand Hi-Lai Hotel、Ambassador Hotel、 E-Da Royal Hotel、Han-Hsien International Hotel、Howard Hotel、85 Sky Tower Hotel. After the dining, we conducted a returning willingness survey on customers. Sorting through different types of verification. Including relevant elements, different demographic characteristics, the difference of customers’ satisfaction towards their consuming behavior and the satisfactory difference with different brands. Hoping this survey could give those restaurant operators some suggestions and guidelines. According to the research, first, there are four pivotal factors that could influence the customers’ satisfaction, which are food, price, ambiance and service. These four factors have its own prominent influence towards to the satisfaction of a customer. Second, customer would reveal different level of satisfaction with different branded restaurants. Third, there are no clear difference on customer satisfaction while they conducted different consumer behavior. Fourth, there are no obvious difference regarding to the customer satisfaction on variable demographic sectors. |
